In the third quarter of 2024, the top sports apps in Nigeria demonstrated varying performance trends on a unified platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, offers insights into their weekly downloads and active user figures.

SportyBet - Sports Betting App showed a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 64K in early July and peaking at 125K by the end of September. Its weekly active user base also grew significantly, beginning at approximately 1.99M and reaching 2.4M by the quarter's end.

BetKing Sports Betting & Games experienced a peak in downloads during mid-July with 52K, followed by a gradual decline to 35K by late September. The app's active user count rose steadily from 116K to around 171K over the quarter.

MSport -Sports Betting & Games maintained a stable download trend, with a noticeable peak in mid-August at 55K. Active users increased from 272K to 341K by the end of September, showing consistent growth throughout the quarter.
